It used to be a glass bowl. That description is out of date - they changed to plastic at least three years ago.

Thank you for clarifying the info, as one vendor has several Scents list, one Glass, the other Plastic, who the heck would know. IMHO Plastic is Normally Lighter than Glass, more Bullet Proof in Transit.
