I peaked on buying shaving crap about two years ago... feels good to be free of all the silly impulse buys.

But... trust me... something else will grab you. I've just about peaked now on my fragrance stint... loads of wasted money flushed down the toilet there too.

Enjoy being liberated, it won't last.

Ha, good point!

I did toy with doing a series of blade reviews and keep every other variable the same - but need to acquire the blades. In fact, I shall stick to this idea, as I think it would be a good resource if not just for myself, but perhaps for newbies who are looking out for blade information.

Definitely enjoy what you have Nick, I have been buying shaving paraphenalia (out of curiosity) just to compare it with something better that I already own. Then for it to collect dust.

So Darron has the DE soaps coming out soon. And Kerry has his vegan soaps and aftershave lotion out soon as well. Remind me what flavour is your standard acquisition disorder

I am buddies with The Good Doctor and you never know what might be up with that supreme snake oil salesman. Maybe I will ask him to stop by sometime if he hasn't already in the past. That guy constantly came up with plenty of things I never knew I wanted and I wasn't alone....heh.

You just need some motivation is all. Some purty pictures....things like that.

I'm in the same boat. There's virtually nothing I still want. The few things left that i want are virtually impossible to find, and if found, unaffordable.

Case in point, my continuing search for a Darwin DE and a rythmic safety razor.

Simple answer: Following the motto "It is better to give than receive", think about PIF - say to a fellow craft beer lover with IPA avatar.

I also admit to purchasing less (other than my No Buy 2018 exemptions). Even to the point of holding off on some items i really would like to have.

My RAD was laid to rest once i'd purchased my OneBlade and my aluminium General, I do occasionally get an attention spike when I see shiny pics but nothing that is almost spell like lol. On the other hand my soap and fragrance AD's are still going strong and they aren't helped by Artisans bringing out new scents every week lol. With soaps, aftershaves and EDTs its not the performance alone, so I gel into a scent OCD where I need to pair, compliment or match each scent layer.

the only thing i have bought this year is a Wickham soap. I have no interest in buying more razors or aftershaves or scents anymore - i have so much it will take years to use it all up. Plus, I'm thinking of selling unused razors. Enjoy what you have - my aim is to get back to pre DE shaving supply stock - 1 of everything

Can we see a picture of your inventory? I find it hard to imagine that you have everything you (don’t) need :wink:
