I used the Feather as a gateway tool for straights. I see no connection to a single edge except the GEM Mictromatic that I see as a gateway to a shavette.

Who thinks using a SR is difficult or requires more skill than a shavette?

There are some, Univinlions makes the Kamisori style, and there are some no name folding ones.

Maybe so although I don't see it myself, anything that needs a replacement blade is not a traditional straight razor, if that were the case why don't they put SE razors in with DE after all they very are similar.

Could do seems like a sensible idea, maybe the Mods could start a Shavette section just like DE and SE have their own, in fact, I think if they did it would be more popular, standing alone with all the other razor sections.

Avnish, I think they should be a stand-alone razor just like the DE and SE, I just don't see them as part of a dedicated straight razor section.

No offence, but if you had read the whole thread, you'd have seen that there was already a discussion about opinions alike yours. You must understand that there are people on this planet that are members of this forum, but don't live under the same standards of everyday life, and thus simply cannot afford something. On the other hand, even if, for example i'd have taken a loan or something so i could buy an original, and if it happened that it didn't suit me, who could i sell it to for a realistic price, just to not be at a significant loss?
There's always more than on side to every story.
