I bowl load so opening size isn’t a deal breaker though I prefer not to have glass. The label is also an issue. I use their body soaps daily. I hope it performs

It's not a bad thing being cautious buyer. There are some cheap brushes that perform very well.

I am not suggesting anyone spend more than they choose, but an uncle used to close the deal horse trading by telling the buyer, "it only costs a little more to go first class". That usually sold the horse.

I tub load, have never got on with loading from a bowl and god knows I’ve tried. The jars neck is too narrow, once about 20% of the soaps used I won’t be able to get a brush in easily.
That said, you know best..

And coincidentally, the only products I didn't like performance based, were the ones that came in a narrow bowl/jar.
