Arrived yesterday a " Hawk", quite light and tiny, until compared with "Anniversary Boy" the Ever Ready 1914, which can be coaxed into delivering truly good shaves.

Received an email today informing me that my new strop is in the post. Also received some photos

of strop which I have uploaded. Can,t wait .

My new handle turned up this morning - it was turned by a very talented guy in Canada using birds eye Burl and smoked acrylic. Now I need to measure the knot hole and get one on order from Shavemac.

His strops look to be superlative quality - I've only ever heard positive comments on them and the way he does business.

I have a new to me brush.

Just finished restoring this one with a knot from Elite Razor.

28mm Manchurian bulb knot that came out to 31mm x 54mm finished. I think it's just right.

All washed up.

Can anyone tell me how old the handle is and what the notations mean here?
