I received this Rod Neep brush I purchased from another forums BST. A 24mm silvertip made by Rod Neep, I have an inclination it is #1810 - Short Retro Deluxe - Briar Burl Resin & Dragon, but looking at the price I paid for it, surely not! I only paid £27. I either got a good bargain or I'm looking at the wrong brush. Whatever it is I like it because of the Welsh Dragon on the collar, a patriotic brush

One of my birthday presents, a Razorock 400 synthetic brush

Initial thoughts are not quite as soft as a Plissoft, but certainly a lot more backbone. Full review to follow in a few days when I've tested it properly

Wow looking at the two Thater knots, the ivory is pure white tipped, I can see some black hairs in the LE, this is obviously pre use/bloom. Interested to hear what you think of the LE brush.

Indeed there does seem to be quite a difference between the two knots in terms of black hair. From what people reports in the LE thread on TSN, the amount of black hairs vary. So here's to hoping 1) that it doesn't affect the feel of the knot, and that 2) nevertheless, mine will come white as a snow princess

My 2017 plan to curb down on fragrance purchases is taking a bit of a nose dive (sorry) recently.

Fougere Royale in the pure extrait concentration from Houbigant, is the ultimate fougère fragrance in my opinion.
