Coco has a similar scent to the Coco brown that Manuel made 5 years or so, ago.
Not pictured is also a Timeless Scalloped 0.68 that Luis has loaned me to try. You're the best, my friend.

This 20mm Frank Pur-Tech synthetic knot arrived from China. HERE For a synthetic knot this was quite expensive so I'm hoping for a good result. It does appear to have a decent backbone but the density feels a tad thin. Ideally, I wanted a Tuxedo knot but due to size limitations that wasn't possible.
Here's the finished result mounted at 45mm. It'll be a few days before it gets an outing as the epoxy needs to fully cure. Prior to mounting I coated the handle and socket with a few coats of diluted yacht varnish to help protect the crappy softwood used with Vie-Long handles. I also glued in a few pennies to give the handle more heft.

The handle is made from Honduran Rosewood Burl and the knot is a Manchurian Bulb 26/52.
Used it tonight and I'm impressed. It made a lather very easily and felt great on the face. It's early days but I like it a lot.
Here's a few photos. The lighting and my camera skills are terrible. I will take some more in the day light soon.

Very nice Todd. Have you decided boar or badger? Tough choice but looking at the pics, I think the badger will look better once fully bloomed.

I can't decide yet. The boar looks great.
It's a very tall handle. The badger knot is a TGN flat top and it needs to be really low set to feel right. In this big handle it just doesn't look right in person.
I would need to get another knot if I go badger.
Then, I think I will need to enlarge the hole a bit to get the loft of a bigger badger knot in it how I like them and to look nice.
