There's a definite benefit to being able to use both feet. So few players have this ability these days 👍
I use both hands for shaving with a straight. I am right hand dominant but play stringed instruments where dexterity with my left hand is required. The grandson is right-handed, but in baseball bats left just because his father started him that way. I hold a sling shot in my right hand because I am left eye dominant. My point, most football players could be both.

Indeed. They certainly could. Would be interesting to know how much weight the clubs place on that in training young players as they come up through the system.

Maybe a system tends toward taking the line of least resistance.

Interestingly, a coach my son had last August said being both would be an advantage, but resisted when I asked if he would say something to my grandson. I took it on myself to work with him soon afterwards. I do understand, however, he has other things to consider.

I've been looking for a knowledgeable former player or coach to work one on one with my grandson for which I would pay, but so far dead ends. At this point I think I will work with him by picking up ideas here and there.

I am not a football fan, but because @Twelvefret likes to read and share, I read the opinion piece from the NY Times. I commiserate with all my friends who are suffering now. As a lifelong fan of the New York Knicks and also of the (former) New York (now New Jersey) Jets of American football I totally get it. The Jets haven’t won it all since the 1969 season, and the Knicks just ended their 53 year drought. And it’s been longer for England! At least my teams have a fresh chance with every new season, but the World Cup comes around only every few years. It must be torturous for you guys. I’m so sorry for you. Really.
I support Philadelphia Sixers because of Allen Iverson.

I've had a quick look online and there don't appear to be any online coaches over here you could use. It's all face to face as you'd expect.

As you've taken to coaching him yourself, you could do your own coaching badges. They vary in cost from not bad to quite pricey but there are over 40 courses and some are very specific e.g. for goalkeepers. Could be an option...

Anyway, have a look see...

I've a question. In the final match was the strategy to contain Messi and as a result, Spain was not able to score until extra time was added? I am asking relative to what I saw between France and England. England came out to score, not contain Mbappe.
