Glenfarclas is a typical Speyside sherry bomb. It's one of the largest distilleries of the Speyside whisky region. Why they specifically mention "Highland" on their labels is beyond me (although surely, the valley of Spey is within geographical Highlands).
True Speyside is within the Highlands, just the way they market it. I've a bottle of Glenrothes (which is Fife) but it's a Speyside......Anyway, what's in a name, they're all good :)

A wee dram of a marvelous Highland malt to celebrate Burns Night (and also my mother's birthday). Cheers!

We've had a nice comparison of Loch Lomond whiskies.

Accidentally they're' lined up according to my personal preferences. With 17 being the most interesting one.

Behind the scenes: Oban 14, Bowmore 18.

So opened this tonight and was very, very pleasantly surprised! A little fruity but oh so smooth. Don’t think I have ever had a Whiskey like it. Quite delicate but with enough of a punch to remind you that it’s a full on Whiskey.
I think Sainsburys were stocking it
