Your coffee brewing method

I use an Italian Moka pot. My favourite coffee is Starbucks' Komodo Dragon, which I have ground very fine, but not espresso fine. When I want an espresso I use our Nespresso machine.

Love my new Nespresso Inissia, purchased it yesterday.

Got it home and ordered 150 pods to get a free Aerocc Milk Frother, also had two glass cups with stainless steel saucers thrown in for free, free delivery too and which came today.

Few years ago we had a Tassimo, this is miles ahead of that.

Today's brewing method amounted to "medium filter to go, please, and a bag of Mariano Salazar Bourbon Jungle, whole beans". And what do you know, when buying beans, a free choice of coffee is complimentary.

I love my coffee but since I got my gallbladder out, I cannot deal with the acidity of some coffee beans.
So I go for Brazilian Bourbon Santos beans, Bourbon Santos is noted for its mild acidity.
Along with a wonderfully balanced body and taste. Not overwhelming, yet not lacking substance either.
The local coffee house also flavours these beans. So I get date or Royal nut flavours.
Got to say date flavour is wee bit sweet.

How is it halvor?
Looks like a great set up there..I am drinking Javanese beans purchased last week from Rema 1000. Not bad to be fair, though it's just for my travel cup.

I’ve tried just about every whole bean from Rema (Friele and Kolonihagen) and usually end up there if going for a non-specialty one. But with a bi-weekly bean subscription and a pregnant, no-coffee intaking partner, I’m well sorted.

Plenty here # Nå er det skikkelig vinter ! Fortunately I love snow and (for me) Norway looks so magical in this particular state...but problematic for travel and even had power cuts here.

Kenyan beans this morning..with a French press/Cafetiere. Very nice indeed. I think I prefer lighter roasted beans for a better taste.

I have a Nespresso Inissia at home, used every morning for a cuppa.

Apart from the initial batch of free Nespreso pods I got with the machine which I went through pretty quickly, I've been purchasing generic pods from an online shop in Cape Town at approximately 50% of the Nespresso price.

No difference as far as my taste buds are concerned.
