Witch Hazel Toner use.

My Thayers Witch Hazel Facial toner arrived yesterday. Used it last night before going up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire. Pinched a cotton swab disc off Mrs Sideburns and squeezed some onto that and swabbed down my face. Nice sensation afterwards.
This morning after shaving and patting dry my face I poured some out onto my hand and splashed on. Again, a lovely sensation, definitely a milder sensation than using after shave balm.
Mrs Sideburns later on today gave me a refillable pump action spray atomiser, so will try using that tomorrow after shaving.
Do you splash on or mist it Witch Hazel over your face?

Fair enough — I was more wondering how precise people are with it, given the preservative and pH-balancing ingredients. I know it’s standard cosmetic chemistry, but I’d still rather keep it out of my mouth.

After reading this, I read the instructions…

As mentioned above just above, I use it just like aftershave splash. It's excellent for more aggressive razor shaves when you don't want to face the Home Alone effect.

I have never read the instructions as per the cotton pad thing. I just use it as I saw on the internet when I first started shaving. Squirt it out and apply liberally. So many of the zero alcohol splashes now are witch hazel based.

Give it a go. You won't regret it. 👍
