Either brave or very skillful @Mrchick. I couldn't take my straights on holiday. I'd go out looking like something from The Walking Dead the amount of beer I sup on holiday I usually cannot see straight until 11.00 am then it's beer o clock.

I don't drink, therefore no wounds

Its simple enough... Synthetic brush, DE razor, tube of shaving cream and a tube of aftershave balm. Anything more is OTT for me, I worked away from home the first 3 months this year and although I took my straights I never felt comfortable enough to use them more than twice.

Totally agree. I'll also take a favourite soap but not brushes as they are too expensive or difficult to replace

I do too. Arko and Palmolive shave sticks are among my favourite shave soaps, the Merkur 45c one of my favourite DEs giving a very close comfortable shave and the synthetic Muhle travel brush is another favourite of mine. There is no need to compromise on enjoyment of a great shave while travelling with the possible exception of travel by air and using a cart disposable to avoid hassles. The cart bit really sucks for me.

If I had to travel with only cabin luggage I'd probably go with a Bic 1, Bic Metal or Sensor Excel.
