What's the dinner tonight?

Since I've retired, have gotten to know the local butchers and their schedule as to when they mark down their meats. I've gotten some great cuts for up to 60 percent off list price. Only problem is the meat either has to be prepared that night or frozen.

Got a NY strip steak tonight. Will try the grill if the outside temps let me, otherwise on the stove top in cast iron. We'll air fry some tater tots and the wife will add something green

We had BBQ pork ribs, hoppin' John, and spicey collard greens. That's hoppin' John for luck, collard greens for wealth, and pork for progress.
