Went out for a Pub Lunch, was a bit of a drive but well worth it. Shared a Whitebait starter, and then I had Rabbit and Bacon Pie with potatoes and mixed veg . Unlike Chain pubs the filling very generous, the pastry was delicious as was the White herby gravy. Mrs M had poached Salmon which looked a treat.
For Dessert she had Gypsy Tart, and I settled for Bread and Butter Pudding. A real treat as we have cut down on meals out.

Yes, Cod is a very good fish for making curry, with firm white flesh. You only need to heat the fish through for a few minutes towards the end of cooking.

Never had Cod fish in my life, only eat trout (rainbow or brown), salmon and sardines.
