Congratulations.Ok so as you may have picked up from @p.b already... Octopusis the name of my electric supplier. Each month on their app they have a game called 'Spin the Wheel' to win the princely total of a potential £512 of electricity to credit to your account. You get two spins each month and in the history of time all I have ever won is £0 repeatedly. I thought it was a total fix until today hurrah!

Hope that helps![]()

Probably not!Congratulations.
Does anyone ever actually win 512 pounds of credit?![]()

Don't lose your gullibility!! That means you are honest and often think others are as well.Probably not! That's what the cynic in me says. I think they probably just hand out a few single pounds to excite the thick gullible people like me

Indeed. I'd rather be me than the alternativeDon't lose your gullibility!! That means you are honest and often think others are as well.
That's fantastic. He sounds a bit like an all round athlete from what you've mentioned. Great fitness levels to haveA 13 year old grandson came in 7th out of 114 for a cross country race yesterday with a time of 12:48. He is primarily a soccer player. Maintaining a 6:20 pace is remarkable for someone who just decided to start running.
I began to run long distance as a 20 something and eventually ran 10K's, half and one full marathon. I was a sprinter in HS and a quarter miler (400 meter today). My two eldest ran and now the one grandchild.

Just to clarify, his age runs 2 miles.Amazing!
I went to a small school and thought I was a rockstar with a 21 minute cross-country time. My dreams of greatness were shattered when I switched to a large school for my junior/senior years.
That is truly an amazing time though, 12:48, from what I can remember. He’s very young to be so talented!
Sorry. I knew that subconsciously, but failed to mention it was apples to oranges. I think he’s going places. He’s very young to be so disciplined. I had such a fun time that year, running around the city with my team after school. Hopefully he enjoys his time as well.Just to clarify, his age runs 2 miles.
His father, my son said, “he loves it”! Thank you for your response and comments.Sorry. I knew that subconsciously, but failed to mention it was apples to oranges. I think he’s going places.
