Saw a student I haven’t seen in a little while today, nice young man certainly not one of the lads and so very trustworthy. Told me he had a stage 4 cancer. I had no idea what to say to him apart from telling him to take care and find me if he needs a chat. You spend time with young people in education, you listen to them, help and teach them, but never expect news like that. Did make for a crap day.

I went back to the shop this morning and saw the owner, who I know well. He had the details of the transaction on his phone (along with the rest) and after confirming the prices of the cards I bought, made the refund there and then.

He apologised for the error and we shook hands, friends again.

A satisfactory outcome to an unfortunate mistake.

Diesel's now at £2.05 a litre at my local filling station.

I’d have to ban myself if I posted further thoughts on the matter.

Diesel in Australia now at $2.80 per litre, and will go up to $3.00 per litre next month.

Tuesday I paid $5.29.9/Gallon for 92 Octane Gas, last week it was only $5.19.9/Gallon, and I said self recall when you paid $0.19.9 CENTS A GALLON in 1970?

Making little over $1.25/Hr also, and everything was cheaper in 1970..........Plus these was no Internet,Cell Phones, Cable TV, or Streaming.

been trying to figure out how our Omega brush cracked in 3 spots between our last 2 SOTDs... saw the cracks whipping up yesterday's lather... photo is the big one... didn't drop it or bang it at any point... since we got it... a bunch of hairs came out whipping up lathers... since it's a used 1... maybe the previous owner beat it up & hairline cracks were in it...
