so yesterday's ice clean up hit us harder than we thought/felt and the aching body won't go back to sleep... ahhhhh winter go away...
Sounds good. Take good care of yourselves!Got away with going out earlier this morning for the Boss's appointment as the freezing drizzle was just starting. Tried to get the recycle wheeled bin from the curb this afternoon and it was scary slippery even after laying down salt. The forecast for the rest of this week and into next week is a mix of freezing drizzle, rain, snow flurries and snow or some combination of them on any particular day. We decided to stay home and cancel any appointments that we had well into next week. Both of us are mobility impaired so why risk it when you don't have to. The weather she be a pita alright.

Thanks. It is not that cold as the temps are hovering just above or below freezing during the day to cause the icy conditions. I think the saying "too soon old and too late" smart cover us now.Sounds good. Take good care of yourselves!![]()
Never take risks Bob, that is correctThanks. It is not that cold as the temps are hovering just above or below freezing during the day to cause the icy conditions. I think the saying "too soon old and too late" smart cover us now.

Does it make morning very dark? How does it change the actual daylight you get? Just interested from a UK point of view. Think your in Canada...Not looking forward to the change to Daylight Savings Time tonight at 0200/2 AM Sunday morning.

Actually, it gets light earlier in the morning and stays light later into the night too. That seems to be contradictory until you take into account the earth's rotation iirc.Does it make morning very dark? How does it change the actual daylight you get? Thanks Mark
I should say that to add to the confusion, Canada has many time zones with most having a difference of 1 hour except for 1 that is 1/2 hour different.Actually, it gets light earlier in the morning and stays light later into the night too. That seems to be contradictory until you take into account the earth's rotation iirc.

I could do without the back and forth twice a year and just stay on one time year round.
