What are your top three De safety razors?

Found a razor that may be my No1, it’s a frankenrazor comprising an ATT r1 head with a Blackland dart handle, perfect balance and fits my hand perfectly.

I really like the Blackland Dart handle. It’s the nicest looking one Blackland made.

Jon , you could be right, I’ve found it matches up really well with the ATT r1 and the ATT se1 better than the original handles for these razors.

Sorry it was a typo, it’s the nicest handle they have made. I’d buy the handle if it was available. Like to see how it matches in your set up.

For the last few months my top three modern DE razors been

Razorock GC .76 / Timeless Ti Crown
Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 Orange

Honorable mention goes to the Asylum Evolution. Were it not for its idiosyncratic blade alignment, it would easily fit in the top three, displacing the EJ by a whisker. I’m still on the fence re the RR GOAT. I really was hoping it would beckon way more often than it does. For sure, the three razors listed above easily outfavorite the GOAT which continues to hide its secrets from me.

But here’s the thing, I’m using the DE format less often these days, picking up the slack with injector and gem shaves. The thicker SE blades are really satisfying lately.

I currently own two Weber razors both are polished and coated heads, and they both shaves above the Merkur 34C aggression, and slightly lower than the Goat.

The Weber razors are smoother than the 34C and the Goat, I’m very glad to have both Weber in my den and a REAL keeper until I R.I.P.
