Just finished Widow's Bay ahead of cancelling Apple TV... the season breaks for the few shows I actually follow are just too much and I have lots of HBO originals to catch up on.

Widow's Bay wasn't that great IMO. I don't get the hype and awards for this show.

Recently finished the last episode of The Chelsea Detective, Series 4.

This is probably my favourite of all the current tranche of TV ‘tecs shows. I like its low key, compact, style and lack of histrionics. Something that other series, especially US made shows, can suffer from.

It also lacks, to its credit, the tedious ‘crime-that-was-never-solved and/or nemesis figure that haunts our hero’ trope that blights too many other police procedurals.
