TV shows you are - or will be - watching.

The wife and I were working our way through Tracker in a low-key sort of way, and just finished season three. It’s been renewed. Very predictable episodes allow us to sort of turn our brains most of the way off.

Started re-watching FOUNDATION, and RINGS OF POWER. Both shows were scored by the same gentleman. The opening themes are crazy similar. Not sure exactly when the next seasons are coming out but I’m here for it. Great production values.

I enjoyed season one of STAR TREK Discovery, but fizzled-out somewhere in season two if I recall. Not sure why. Maybe I’ll have to pick it up again.

I know what you mean about Tracker. It's pretty chilled. Took me a while to get into the Foundation but I really enjoyed it when I did

I absolutely loved FOUNDATION immediately!

(although I feel like they pulled a plot-breaking cheap-shot at the end of season three)

So I started reading the book, thinking it would make more sense. It doesn’t. I’ve always found Asimov challenging. But I was inspired to go back and re-read some old Robert Heinlein and William Gibson, so it wasn’t all bad. 😅

Yes it's a favourite of mine and give the Orville a look, it's not StarTrek but I think you will enjoy it.
Film wise StarTrek 2 wins by a country mile.
Sorry, I don’t know how I missed your post. Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll look for it.

Agreed on Wrath of Khan. I think it was the most entertaining film with the original cast. I liked Generations and Nemesis from the set with the TNG cast.

Stick with Discovery through the end of season two. It’ll be a good watch. That said, I’m three episodes in to season three, and I’m struggling now. I’ll give it another three or so episodes before I put it down for a while and start with one of the recommendations above.

I think the mixed timelines blew my tiny little brain 🧠! 😜 Was a very good series though. Don't think I'd have the stamina for the books!!!! 🙂

There are so many different flavors of STAR TREK it’s ridiculous. Something for everyone.

I really need to make a deliberate effort to sort the new stuff and pick something and stick with it. Seems like there’s a new one every time I turn around.

I really wanted to like The Expanse but I just kept slowing down on it, forgetting where I was and what was happening. My attention span is also not what it used to be. 😂
