It is frightening when you see the repeats, the house prices appear to be up by a good 50% over the past 5 yearsMrs. BnT and I enjoy Escape to the Country. Set in various locations in the UK. Enjoyed the episode near the Preseli Hills. My favored location would be the Gwaun Valley, where my cousin used to deliver the post.
Also liked the series with Penelope Keith where she toured various areas in Britain. She was quite a looker in her day.
And it's about 3-5 times in the last 12 or so years in the UK (varies by area). It is frightening when you see the repeats, the house prices appear to be up by a good 50% over the past 5 years
One thing that’s always struck me with Escape to the Country is the number of people who obviously don’t actually want to. They get shown a lovely farmhouse and they’re all “Ooh it's a bit isolated, do you not have anything in the village?”Mrs. BnT and I enjoy Escape to the Country. Set in various locations in the UK. I don't know how the presenters keep calm, not only do the couples fail to agree on what they want but they are picky to the nth degree, they would drive me nuts if I was the presenter. One thing that’s always struck me with Escape to the Country is the number of people who obviously don’t actually want to.
