Mrs. BnT and I enjoy Escape to the Country. Set in various locations in the UK. Enjoyed the episode near the Preseli Hills. My favored location would be the Gwaun Valley, where my cousin used to deliver the post.

Also liked the series with Penelope Keith where she toured various areas in Britain. She was quite a looker in her day.

One thing that’s always struck me with Escape to the Country is the number of people who obviously don’t actually want to. They get shown a lovely farmhouse and they’re all “Ooh it's a bit isolated, do you not have anything in the village?”

I don't know how the presenters keep calm, not only do the couples fail to agree on what they want but they are picky to the nth degree, they would drive me nuts if I was the presenter.

HBO Max appears to be unavailable in the UK at the moment, for some reason, and I'm not sure a VPN would be reliable.
