I watched "Altered Carbon", too. It looks terrific, and the acting is rather good as well for the most part. The premise is intriguing, but the story itself is kind of a mess, I think, and they seem to lose sight of it halfway through to spend more time with blood splatter and nudity. Poe/The Hotel was easily my favourite character.I'm watching a few new series on Netflix, altered Carbon, The Punisher and the first two episodes of the second series of Jamestown on BBC.
Ozark is very, very good.Started on Ozark after finishing Altered Carbon.
First episode in, FINALLY some decent TV!New Homeland starts next week, can't wait.
Having watched just two episodes, I agree with all those points. I might continue watching, but I suspect that the messy storytelling is more likely a result of confused writing rather than a profound plot.I watched "Altered Carbon", too. Gomorrah. Currently mid way through the 3rd series on Sky Atlantic.

I loved the first series. I had no idea that there was a second AND a third series. Thanks for the heads up!One of the best show ever, The Godfather and Greek tragedy mixed in the poor suburbs of Naples. I've watched the 3 seasons.
EDIT: the episode in Bulgaria is EPIC.
That looks interesting Cristobal. Thank you.Suburra is quite good too (but less than Gomorrah).

The TV series is a prequel of the movie (which is so so)
