A Coffee Porter at San Diego Zoo, very nice it was too. In an aluminium cup at an extra $2 for the cup which made it back unharmed !

A Bud at Petco Prk during the ball game, it was ice cold and wet and refreshed.

Very nice Dark Lager from a brewery in San Marcos.

Woodgate Reserve Somerset scrumpy cider, 6% abv and all of £2.99 for four cans in Lidl. This isn’t tramp juice though, it’s one of the best mass-market ciders I’ve come across.

Another 1 part Absolut Passionfruit Vodka, 1 Part Langs Banana Rum, ice and topped up with fresh orange juice. Just something I decided to try which is now a bit of a favourite. Cheers all !

£5 off at Sainsburys and been after a sipping rum, there will be a wedding Anniversary drink tonight for mine and my dear wife’s 33 years and 38 years a couple.

Speaking of discounts at Sainsburys, when my daughter was at Edinburgh I phoned her up and asked her if she was eating properly, I asked her what she had in her fridge - an egg, She had a pre paid credit card, I could put money on it, she could draw on it, I put £100 on it and I told her to go to Sainsburys and fill her fridge, told her to look for special offers. She went straight round and I called her back after an hour and asked if she had spent up, did she see any special offers.

"Yes, spent it all, Sainsburys were doing six bottles of champagne for the price of four, you told me to look for special offers".
