Yup since 26th August (when it arrived in the UK) its has updated today to say 'origin post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece'. I can tell you the man at the origin is contemplating the benefits of privatisation.
Royal Mail are having a meeting to see how much they can get away with charging you for delivering it. It will be on its way once they've stopped laughing.

My ex girlfriend worked in Harrods. She used to tell me how certain packages were protected from thieves. One Sultan posted jewel encrusted shoes in a secure package also containing a King Cobra. It has me thinking....

I’d be doing a lot of international posting if I thought I could send cobras to HMRC!

Very much look forward to trying this out later this evening, hopefully on camera..
If you wouldn't mind, could you upload it around 23:00, it'll help with the insomnia no end!:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Seriously though, it'll be great to have you back on YouTube, there are very few people that actually know what they are taking about on their chosen subject.

Lol I have to admit to watching some shaving videos to help me get to sleep. I'll prep the heavy metal.

Well unfortunately I won't have the chance to try the razor tonight, don't think it will be long though. I have been analysing the razor in hand. Here are some ramblings.

Firstly I prefer a polished finish to matt. The Timeless titanium is similar to the Merkur Futur satin in look. However, the finish is flawless and feels 'softer' to the touch. Screwing the head to the handle is not as smooth as its stainless steel brother. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into developing this razor. The grooves on the handle of the razor are deeper towards the head end, aiding grip where most needed. The inside of the stand is also remarkably smooth. It is perfectly balanced towards the centre. Being lightweight, it will be easier to manoeuvre, not that the stainless was a chore. What is special is how strong, solid and precise this razor feels, an oxymoron when considering the weight. The teeth and comb as a whole is accurate, smooth and what can only be described as the perfect article. I predict the two sides to provide a subtle difference in face feel as well as audio feedback and efficiency. Given the price expectations are high and initially I am pleased to say they have been met. The real proof will be in the shave.

Here are a few pics:

Hi @Nishy if you have a minute can you take a close up picture of the underside of the top cap? From various low quality photoes I have seen around, it looks like the finish in that area is a lot better than the steel one, which was not great...

I had my first shave with the TT (Titanium Timeless) yesterday morning. I did video this, however it doesn't look great with some very questionable lighting. I'll probably just post this on the site as opposed to YouTube at a later date.

I must emphasise that my opinions are after just one shave, without a mirror and using a brand new brush. First of the basics. The lighter weight makes it much easier to manoeuvre around the face. I quite like the sturdy feel of the SS version and it is by no means difficult to shave with, when considering its weight. However the TT is as solid just much much lighter. I found the teeth to feel a little more 'scrapey' with the TT. Again I must emphasise, no mirror and first use. So I need to spend more time on this side as I usually prefer OC razors. I may also need to get used to the matt finish and this feel on the skin. Like the ATT OC razors the teeth have a similar surface feel, especially when on the skin. The SB was exceptionally smooth. It was as smooth as some of my Japanese straights. You feel the blade and hear it cutting but it is probably the most comfortable razor I have used. I was blown away by the SB side. As always the razor is highly efficient. A weeks growth down to DFS in one pass. The dual comb nature allowed for 3 passes, where the SS OC's optimum is 2 passes.

In conclusion, aesthetically IMO SS is better. I prefer the finish and noticeable weight. In terms of the shave, the Titanium makes adjusting pressure and angle easier. Saying this I didn't find adjusting to the SS hard. The OC being polished on the SS version is smoother for me. But I will update this opinion with extended use. The SB at 0.95mm is excellent, superb and improves on the SS SB tenfold. It blew me away. I do find the SS to look more expensive and feel more expensive than the Titanium but that is just down to personal preference. The TT SB 0.95mm is my current favourite from the entire Timeless range. I look forward to mixing stainless and titanium components on the same razor as all parts are interchangeable.

It seems the head is also of a slimmer profile on the TT but I could be wrong.

Interesting. As I have the SS OC in both 0.68 and 0.95 gaps, I was thinking what TT version I should get to actually have a step change, and not just the same razor, if it makes sense. From what you are saying the TT SB 0.95 would feel a bit like a different razor, so would make sense to have alongside the SS....
