The ENOCH Razor

In line with their tradition of naming razors so they get easily buried among completely unrelated search results, The Blades Grim came up with another single edge razor that takes Artist Club style blades - The ENOCH Razor.

I think it's priced reasonably for a full 316 stainless steel razor at £60. It also looks like a Cobra Classic clone.
Which is why I don't care for it, but someone else might like it.

I struggle with the now current owners and establishment of Classic Shaving. Classic Shaving used to be located in Palm Springs, California as was acquired by Luke Webster, owner of other business names as well, but took the goodwill and name of Classic Shaving as his new stead.

This razor, especially in means of clamping the blade, is a derivative of the Asylum Rx. They have simply skewed the interface of the two parts bit and hollowed out the triangular area to reduce weight while narrowing the head and removing the blade end protectors. This is nothing new as the original videos of their Occam’s Razor design was a knockoff of the OneBlade right down to the stand, but using Artist Club blades.

However, what turned me off completely on the new Classic Shaving was an absolutely vile exchange on Reddit with a potential customer. Thanks, but no thanks on purchasing anything from Classic Shaving.

I think it's likely it'll work better with a slightly thinner lather, especially with more growth. That said, I have the original Occam's razor with an extra Nano handle, because I liked the razor so much, so if this new one shaves close to Occam's, it should be a very decent buy. :)

If the shave is similar to a Cobra then this could be the razor the Asylum Rx could have been if only it hadn't been pitched at the very aggressive end of the spectrum. I'm very interested in this for the money.
