The most beautifully finished razor I have ever seen. Wonder how it will shave?
Are you joking? There is nothing exceptional about it! It's not even fully polished. The base plate is brushed... Not a picture of the underside of the top cap. This is just BS marketing mate, honestly Wolfman, Timeless, Blackbird, Alpha, so many better refined razors out the at half the price. I'm shocked that people can fall for this marketing exercise

I have owned razors from every brand you mention and I will have to thoroughly disagree. Did you look closely at the pictures of this new razor or only at the price? The fact that it is not fully polished is neither here nor there, the brushing on this new razor is on a level I have never seen before. Please explain how this is nothing more than a "marketing exercise," as this statement makes absolutely no sense.

It’s a marketing and execution exercise not dissimilar to what Swiss watchmakers such as Rolex have successfully done for decades. Using a 10x loupe, I’d guess Wolfman is up to task in terms of refinement; can’t say the same for the others, definitely not Blackland.

Brushing is brushing, it covers machining defects and takes no time to do. Polishing adds hours to the process, that’s why Wolfman charges much more for a full mirror polish. Wolfman is the only one to my knowledge that polishes the underside of the top cap. Which is a painful and tricky task.

That video makes me cringe, it’s all elaborate phrases and no substance. I agree with the similarities with Swiss watchmakers. There is nothing in this razor that makes it special, even the handle, there are some DS Cosmetic or Yaqi ones that are as pleasant aesthetically and are beautifully polished.
lol the passport is pure BS that adds to the cost. Of course, feel free to buy it but honestly queue up for a Wolfman if you want the best

Clearly your premise that “brushing is brushing”is way off base, otherwise please explain why Wolfman, which you cannot seem to stop mentioning, charges a significant markup for “premium” brushing.

Also, Wolfman is not the best at anything apart from creating hype.

Will it be £800 plus good ?
Ultimate SOTD eye candy piece.
I'm not saying it's not up there with the creme of the crop, ultimate engineered pieces but you could probably go straight for a Wolfman, Timeless, Blackland & a Carbon to top up your high end collection for the same price.
