Yeah I really like to look of the design, is knowing Tatara with their design I’m confident in the magnet installation working.

Eewwwwww - it needs a neck. The Alpha Spirit and Blackland Vector are both much better looking and this team have designed some very attractive razors so I’m quite disappointed in the looks. However, the magnetic top cap is an interesting idea. I look forward to hearing more about it.

Do we know if they will sell the head piece seperately, at some stage after the initial launch?
If the answer is yes, I wonder if the handle will be interchangeable, so maybe use the Vector or Spirit handle with the AMAKUNI head? From a personal perspective, I'm not liking the handle at all - but please note this is just my view only.
Edit: after watching the video on YT, IMHO it doesn't look as though the handle will be interchangeable.

I had it in basket...twice and pulled out. I'm a bit unsure about the magnet, I doubt that would suit me and the aesthetics with slim head and the bulky handle, I am dubious about the balance of it. That said I would have took a punt, if it had their 15% off. I'll be interested to hear the feedback in due course.

Did the same and also twice! Magnets and no neck just stopped me there.
Having watched the video, I actually think the handle is screwed into the baseplate, as if it stays like that or like a proprietary connection?
Yeah I’m sure it says a 2 piece razor, that will put many off.

It’s a two piece design so I assume the handle is attached. I think it’s one of those looks that has to grow on me, like the Osprey for example. Not a fan of the side profile but I think looks better on the video than the photos.

Over on both DFS & B&B, a well known user who has tested a prototype version - confirmed that it was a two piece design.
