Subscriptions for the Semogue ATG LE brush

I've purchased several LE Semogue brushes - apparently commissioned by or made for shaving forums - what are they doing differently?

Not a big deal for me even though it sounded like it would be a very nice brush. I'm merely curious.

Efforts made attempting to make this happen are much appreciated.

Happy shaves,

Never arranged nothing with them before so no idea if anything is different at all, I’ve started conversations almost a year ago and after this time I still don’t have nothing to present so I didn’t think it made sense to continue to have this in the back of my mind and occupying a “slot” here in the forum.

In my opinion, we could wait a little more, just in case they are having other commitments that need to be completed before new projects can be addressed.

I understand that but I think they’ve could just tell something. I didn’t had a clear response in all this time.
If someone wants to carry this, the door is not closed.

You are right, they should have given an answer to your requests.
I find, unfortunately, this sort of lack of answer to be more common these days. For example, we are looking for a landscape contractor for a large project at our house. We approached 5 candidates: 2 of them said they were interested and would get back to me to schedule a meeting; I never heard from them again. The third one came for a visit and spent a couple of hours with us including reviewing the site survey and taking measurements. Since I hadn’t heard from him in two weeks I called him and left a voicemail; after another two weeks I sent an email, still no response. The fourth one called back to tell me he was too busy, which I appreciated. We are now working with the remaining contractor, who told us he was fully booked through this coming Spring and early summer, which is fine with us as we are happy to undertake the project late next summer and early autumn. We’ve had similar experiences with other”trades”, who don’t seem to want to tell you that they’re too busy or just not interested. I consider a courtesy of a reply to be good business practice. No reply or an evasive reply just doesn’t cut it. Wait until the recession comes and these bozos aren’t flush with work.

I’ve had three razor makers go silent regarding passarounds, I was involved in dialogue with two of them.

This. I'd much rather someone told me "sorry I can't do it" or "it'll be three months away" than just went silent. We're having similar problems at the moment trying to get a roofer, people say they'll come and just don't turn up.

Similar experience here in getting tradesmen to do jobs. To say it is frustrating is an understatement.

I know this is already in the oblivion but I wanted to close this project "officially".

Nowadays behind every stone someone is making shaving brushes so I think there is no point in this cat and mouse game with Semogue, incredibly frustrating.

For my part I apologise for it not coming to fruition, maybe at a next one.

Thanks for your time and engagement gentlemen.
Thanks a lot for effort. I do like Semogue a lot but I do not like to be ignored.

I really think they’re not interested to make this brush. We would like something outside their standard sizes and designs and there’s no willing to make something new. The Spanish fórum SCNHG is making a LE Semogue, using a known handle, 24mm and mixture hair. It looks like a normal production SOC just has the forum logo on the bottom. I am pretty sure they have asked after us… so I do not understand why we’ve been ignored really…

Make sense to me. (What you're doing makes sense. What they're doing doesn't.)
