It probably is, it has the right skin, it’s on the softer side but still an excellent razor hone. The bad thing is that you really need two stone holders to use it.

The Razor ..
Thiers-Issard Le Grelot-Like in Carbonsong. This is a rather nice T-I.. It shows none of the issues associated with modern T-I razors. The bevels, while not extremely small, are quite even.. which is all I care about.

Scrupleworks Vegetable Tanned Horsehide.. Old Reliable.

Palmolive Shave sticks milled into Old Spice Mug

St. James of London Mandarin & Patchouli. The cream and the AS balm are new here today, both nicely presented in glass. I must confess to being a dolt concerning scents.. I assuime that Mandarin is orange. I feel I should know what Patchouli smells like, but I honestly don't.. So, I take a chance. I happen to be quite pleased with this choice..
