Some nice Sheffield steel for our friend @Gairdner and a favorite, Jonathan Crookes rattler. Soap was I Coloniali Mango Oil lathered with a Zenith boar, and matching IC Rhubabrb balm finished up nice cold morning shave.
Razor: G. Gowen, Sheffield, 13/16 near wedge. Honed on La Veinette coticule (Unicot).
Brush: ShedEleven (hand-carved Scottish oak + Zenith boar).
Soap: Haslinger Sheep's Milk with lanolin, loving it.
A/S: Proraso 'Refreshing' (very )
M.K. 32 with an edge from ‘Big Blue’, soap was IC Mango Oil lathered with an AP synth brush, and Myrsol Agua Balsamica finished up a great Saturday shave.
The Razor ..
Paul Drees Dreifuss #1919 High Class. Received yesterday, the razor had the original factory edge, which judging by HHT, was quite good, but I wanted my own coticule edge. I must give very high marks to the craftsman, Werner Breidenbach. as the bevel on this blade was very small and even. It took a very nice edge..
The Brush ..
Morris & Forndran Lee 6 Finest in Faux Briar.
