The power of the Jotter clicking pen, really annoyed everybody in school classrooms and office staffs.

Is it sad that I know that's from Goldeneye? I know what you mean about 80s pens, I managed to get hold of a Rotring 600 fountain pen a few years ago, probably paid more for it than it cost new.

Regarding the cars, I would love an XR3, unfortunately by now any surviving examples are likely to be either a total money pit or lovingly restored, very expensive and too nice to drive. I do strongly suspect though that by modern standards an XR3 would be disappointing to drive. Maybe a case of not meeting your heroes.

EDIT - Just looked it up, the XR3 had similar performance to my 1.6 turbo diesel Focus. :D

I drove the family Ford Fiesta 1300s which was great fun. Little brother of the upcoming XR2. It was bright yellow, just like the one in the pic below.

Think the classic fast Fords would still be quick, certainly off the mark, because they weighed very little compared to modern equivalents.

PS back onto pens, when rummaging in my archive a few years back i found a still sealed Parker Vector set - i really have no idea when i bought this !!
