Wilkinson TTO razor
Treet carbon steel blade
Strand best badger brush
Arko sensative shaving cream
Xtracare Chivalry aftershave

Hot shower prep with Old Spice extra clean soap

If you have to debate with yourself if it is time to change the blade, change it.

I forgot to set my brush in to soak. I did a quick soak after my shower. It worked. The Arko lathered well. I did two passes and got close enough for shopping. Chivalry calmed things down.

Hmmm I can see the lady BBS on the double chin.
On the other hand, I face difficulties in that area even if I have some experience.

Should contact her for advice.

(Face & Head Shave)

Greetings,

The Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream always provides a slick protective lather. It's gooey sloppy mess appearance on my first use left something to the imagination which put me in doubt about it. However, once I started to add a few drops of water to the gooey mixture it exploded and became slick rich and protective with no drying out issues and superb post shave feel.

An enjoyable comfortable BBS face & head shave with no errors to report

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Baylis & Harding Black Pepper & Ginseng ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.😉

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.😎
The cream is excellent in my books. Consider to get the matching balm as well, it's fantastic with no oily feeling. A true razor burn fighter.

Pre Shave Proraso Blue
Proraso Blue Cream (Super Formula)
Merkur 37c Slant / Gillette London Bridge #2
Yaqi Rocks Timberwolf 28mm
Proraso Blue Balm

So, I did 3 passes only WTG, not to stress the skin much and see if it can get any better from chasing the BBS all the time like a bloody lunatic.

Proraso Pre Shave had some friction when applied and it wasn't very slick, quite the opposite. But hydrated the skin and hair.

I put more than enough cream in a bowl, but I didn't bowl lather, just gathered my first shaving cream I ever bought on the huge Timberwolf knot. It's critical to say that the brush was almost dry even it was soaking for 10 minutes, I didn't want to mess with the darn froth of the Proraso.

Started very pasty on the skin, similar to a good artisan soap (dear Lord 😍), a bit of water and continue from there, tried not to overhydrate the cream. But guess what.. It could handle water with ease, so I put more. I finally had a voluminous dense lather with great shine, not sure if I had a Proraso on my ugly face or an artisan product.

The razor though is another story. It grabbed my skin in some areas, if the angle wasn't perfect. Very narrow to be honest. The slickness was excellent though and protection was good enough. Something wasn't right with the razor (blade perhaps) but I ended up with a very acceptable first pass.

Second and third pass, all WTG, removed the rest of my stiff hair, and gave me a very nice DFS, with no irritation at all. If I had overshaved, I would have torn my skin apart. The razor is not aggressive but it's not very mild either. It's not a bad razor, but I prefer my Maggards Slant, although Brad's razor tends to dig directly into the skin if you press down a bit more.

The balm felt so soothing and the menthol kicked in right away. I would replace the cream and balm if I run out, but not the preshave. It didn't do anything for me. Good scent though.

All in all I had a very good shave, sometimes, it's easier to leave with some very small hairs on your face but have it in good condition, than overshaving and get next day bumps or irritations.

Thanks for reading, sorry for syntax (?)
