Razor's Karve Bison & Blackland Vector.
Blade Feather Pro.
Aftershave Proraso Balm.
Today's shave was brought to you by my Blackland Vector a truly amazing razor.
I had a superb two pass shave and the finish was glass smooth, this razor was what made me fall in love with Blackland razors and they are all excellent razors with superb build quality.
My head shave was also good with the Safe Bison razor but I am still not keen on the feel of the razor, it's like a drag feeling as it crosses across my skin.

Prep: Warm shower and Proraso Green pre-shave
Shaving Cream: Derby Menthol
Brush: Yaqi Moka Express 24mm synthetic
Razor Head: Henson AL13
Razor Handle: King C Gillette
Blade: Gillette Minora (3rd use)
Aftershave: Phoenix Frost Byte
Balm: Cremo Refreshing Mint PSB
A thoroughly refreshing menthol shave which provided a cool hit on a warm day. The Minora blade was predictably smooth on its third use, but it did appear to have lost just a tad of sharpness, necessitating three passes plus pick-ups to get the job done. Enjoy your shaves everyone...

Today is 04-13-2025 is # 103 of 2025.
Razor: Vintage Gillette - Flair Tip - Twist to Open - Circa - 1957 (C-4)
Blade: Super Stainless Steel - Polymer Coated Blade, (Personna) DAY # FIVE USEAGE.
Bowl: N/A
Soap/Cream: Cremo - Refreshing Mint, smells is great.
Brush/Instrument: Fingers/Omega Boar
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel
Back to Vintage again today, so I chose my Vintage Gillette - Flair Tip - Twist to Open - Circa - 1957 (C-4). Shave was three passes, with, across, & against the grain, using a NEW Super Stainless Steel - Polymer Coated Blade, (Personna) as it was in Orphan Baggie of loose Blades. Shave had some Blade feel but only feedback Blade was working well, Shave went as easy as 1, 2, 3, Blade is Super Sharp, and, Efficient. Today was DAY # FIVE for using this Blade, came out of my Orphan Blade Ziplock. Blade sent message, aka feedback it was working good today. Blade is not showing sign of getting DULL YET. Still work on using last of my supply of Cremo - Refreshing Mint.
Shave today was Dam Fine Shave but did not achieving perfection rating, would be 9.9 +. Results were Darn Good because I payed a lot of attention to Technique, reaping rewards, of DFS for doing so. I do not & never will chase BBS, do but still got great Shave. Happy back using one of my Vintage Gillette Razors. They are lot of Bang for Buck Razors, even this one at almost 68 years old, is a Dam Fine Razor. Keep asking self what is big deal about super pricy Modern Super Razors, but there are CNC & Pretty?

It's been a minute since I last visited ATG. Today's shave: a solid 9/10 DFS, in 2 passes with some cleanup. Enjoyable, reasonably close finish, although I haven't taken the time to master the LC yet and I believe it will be capable of better results in more experienced hands.
