Hot shower prep with Old Spice extra clean soap

The Old Spice soap degreases my skin better than the body wash. Today was 80° heat along with tropical humidity. This combined with a lovely greasy burger for supper made my skin very oily.

The Noxema has been kicking around the bathroom for over a decade and I need to use it up. I put Un a fresh Shark and it performed better than expected. Three passes without irritation. I finished the shave with witch hazel and Aqua Velva. The just like polo sport was an interesting afterthought.

I bowl lathered the PAA Shave Chaser (Skin Bracer dupe) with the Omega boar brush producing a super, creamy lather which is an absolute dead-ringer in terms of scent to the Skin Bracer. Three passes with the cobbled together razor (A-68 and Yaqi handle) using an Astra SS on its third outing. I really like the added heft that the handle gives to the aluminium head. BBS was achieved and finished with the matching classic old skool Skin Bracer. Very happy camper! Enjoy your shaves everyone...

Face Lather.
Lather: Erasmic shaving soap bowl.
Blade: Treet Platinum.(D2)
Razor: Parker 87R.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Swagger ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

Early morning shave,

The Erasmic Soap Bowl & Semogue 830 boar duo both gave an admirably lathering performance this morning providing me with slick protective lather in a short space of time, leaving a wonderful post shave feel....I will be adding it to my soap rotation regularly throughout the remainder of the month and beyond...A great inexpensive shaving soap which gives results well above it's inexpensive price tag, and also it's mild clean scent pairs together with all my post shave applications.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Thursday 11th June...

Got further today with the shavette and almost made a full pass. Made an attempt at under the nose and the chin area which was new. It's still fairly uneven to say the least but that's all I'd expect currently. The biggest thing is that I'm noticing that there are certain areas of the face that I can only get to by swapping to my left - non-dominant - hand so I've been working on that.

Finished off with the Merkur 34 which had a RK Pro Edge #2. The shavette had a Permasharp #2.
