Excellent close and irritation free run this morning. Yaqi Mellon Titanium, Suneko (3), Tcheon Fung Sing creama, Seven Immortals bowl, handmade pumice / boar brush, Natio calming balm. Two full passes, a little under the chin touch-up and a good rinse and it was done!

10/10 head shave.

I bought the Floid about two years ago from a Spanish seller. Shipping was $3 to WA state, USA.

I’ve tried it a few times, but mostly it just sat, because I couldn’t fully wrap my head around it. Finally I dumped some on my hand and asked the wife what she thought of it. Her reaction was extremely complementary and unprintable. So I guess it’s part of the rotation now.

I gave my face the weekend off so now it's time to load a fresh blade and scrape away the weekend. The Van der Hagen isn't a superstar but it is plenty cushioning and plenty slick and that is more than enough. I did two lathers and did the ATG and clean up on the slickness. Gillette brings a soothing close to the shave with a shower gel and deodorant vibe. Really Ripped Abs brings citrus and a bit of musk and wood.

Monday 7th September...

The Timor #1 was a new blade for me today. Kind thanks again to @Mike Smart for that. Didn't have quite enough cutting power really for 2 days growth and would have been better on 1.5 days but, once through the initial growth, it gave a very pleasant irritation-free shave. Bowl lathered the MDC this morning and things got a little too slick to the point of being annoying but can't really complain about that.

A pleasant shave with a very happy skin afterwards.
