There is definitely a fall chill in the air. It's time for things spicy including sandalwood shaving long cream. I had two days worth of beard so a measured reduction using the Van der Hagen/ Goodline combo in three passes. A little English Leather for the BBS win.

Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.1) with Cedarwood & Patchouli.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Mühle R41. (2013)
Razor: Gallant II Platinum. (Head) - (D2)

I'm really enjoying my reacquaintance with the Mühle R41. The Feather Hi Stainless really works with this razor.

Another close comfortable face & head shave.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Not so keen on Shaves on colder mornings, but not so bad when one gets under way. Actually followed up with nice shower as just fitted new shower head, to replace old one which had seen better days.

I decided to give the Karve OC plate a run out today which i don't really use. Today it has delivered a wonderful shave paired with the Gillette Sharpedge.
The OSP Eucalyptus & Menthol produced a very slick lather with that menthol edge. Not an ideal day for it with it being dark and damp outside but Hey-Ho. Finishing with a matching post shave routine leaving me in a menthol glow.

The Kai blades are about 0.5mm wider than any other blade on the market, so that equals more blade exposure = more aggressive shave.

Canadian Schick E3 + Schick Chick #2 + RazoRock Plissoft + Hampshire Wool Fat No4 + Superdrug Forest Fresh + Aloe Vera Gel

This most recent soap from Auntie Ratna is really excellent both in slickness and scent. The former is as good as her previous tallow soaps. The latter being the best scent she has come up with. There's a nice citrus, woody, floral top note.
Lovely shave with the Schick.
