The second shave on this blade was a lot smoother than the 1st. The L2 is a nice plate to use for me. Very comfortable with enough efficiency to have me BBS in 2 passes.
All in all a very nice shave.

I changed the razor in my week setup - and went back to the Atelier Durdan N° 7 baseplate 0.70 - keeping with the Gillette Yellow. The H&S efficient is efficient, but the stubble is not convinced and is back too soon for my liking. I should switch to another blade, I know, but need to sit this Yellow out for the week - therefore: Atelier Durdan 7 .07 plate. It’s a bit better, and I don’t want to do more than 3 passes so … let’s see where we are at tonight.

My Menthol Madness Monday Shave today consisted of...
Prep 3P Pre shavecream.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Boar.
Soap Master soap creations Frosted Spearmint.
Razor OneBlade Genesis.
Blade FHS-10 (1).
Post shave Master soap creations Frosted Spearmint splash.
Aftershave Czech and Speake no88.

Today's Menthol hit was brought to me by Master soap creations, it stands head and shoulders above all my other Menthol soaps,the lather is what the rest should be aspiring too,it's sensational.
The Highlander boar is definitely my favourite Boar brush and never lets me down,just the right backbone for me.

It was my first outing with the OneBlade Genesis, I have to be honest but it exceeded my expectations, I had read people say it was boring or too mild but I found it perfectly fine and yes mild for sure but it delivered a cracking shave BBS on my gorgeous face with completely zero redness.
To be fair one pass was enough with touchups if I really wanted to stop.
It did indeed deliver on it's promise, if I was to pick holes in it I would say the handle could have done with some knurling or something to make it less slippy.

I completed a good headshave with no complaints and all that's left is to see if I can get another 2 shaves out of the blade,if not then I'll be buying some nippers to modify a Gem blade.

I have shown the wife how to load the OneBlade and said it should be good for her legs, I believe she might try it out and perhaps leave my beloved Vector alone, ha ha.
I now smell very Floral with the No88.
