Axe black body spray
Cool shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 shampoo conditioner bodywash.
It hit 100+° until a thunderstorm moved through and put it in the 70°s.
Facelather with room temp water. I did two passes and some blade buffing on the trouble spots. Brut for the nostalgia and Axe black for the mystery. I did a close comfortable shave without irritation. It feels like a win.
Time to sit out back and enjoy the cool weather.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Goodfellas' Smile Abysso Shaving Soap.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum.(D2)
Razor: King C Gillette.

Sunday morning shave.
Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully this morning. Another close comfortable face shave from the Gillette King C 3Pc & Gillette Winner Platinum duo.
The lathering performance from the Abysso shaving soap is superb providing a great slick protective wonderfully scented lather in a short space of time.
Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Goodfellas' Smile Abysso ASL.
My face is feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Sunday 5th July...
Moving on to the #2 use of the Derby Extra and for the safety it brings, it definitely comprises on cutting power. There's more pickups to get the job done and it makes the first pass much less efficient. I might go back to using the DE razor to clean up but with a sharper blade in the shavette. I'm going to carry on with a focus on technique but removing some of the pressure of getting all the final bits.
A nice clean shave eventually but a lot of work finding all the spots missed.

Soap and splash - FCS bad mutha
Razor - Lupo 95
Blade - Persona Gem first use
Brush - T2 looking forward to getting my cashmere.
The soap was soft and easy to lather and has a nice citrus smell. With the name it has i would expect the splash to be alcohol based with a kick but its alcohol free.
The GEM and Lupo did Ok. I did get some blade chatter against the grain on the jaw line.
Alum feedback:
0% on face.
20% on upper neck
60% lower neck.
Ill try the 58 plate next.
