Greetings,

Early morning face & head shave.

I'll be honest and say since the Merkur 39C was passed on to me I have infrequently added to my razor rotation and always reached for the 37C, purely because I prefer the shorter handle... It's my intention to bond with the 39C throughout the month, as the 37C is such a comfortable efficient razor to shave with, and I want to adjust and have the same opinion of it's bigger heavier sibling.

An enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave to start a new month off wonderfully with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of splash of Brut Original EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.😎

Tuesday 1st September...

This boar is a new and is by far the stiffest I own and so is going to take a little breaking in. I'd forgotten how good this Cyril Salter soap is though and although I needed to reload the brush between passes, it provided a great lather. I've been using the Schick as a pickup razor while I used the shavette in the early days and so I'm not sure about the blade use. It's still crisp and sharp so effectively less than #2 or #3. Two passes is all.

Enjoy your day...

A very nice shave with the #2 of my pair of Kropp razors, i am really happy with the edges on both these razors, they are very smooth and they sing out during the shave.
I completed my 2 pass shave routine for a very close BBS finish.
I did get some indication from the splash but nothing major.
Enjoy your day all.

Twosday, September First's Shave Of The Day was good...

PreShave: toilet sit...
Lather Gear: Yaqi 24mm Synth Mountain Lake whipped up Stirling's Arance Mandarini in Captain's Choice Copper Aquamarine...
Razors&Blade: 1920s Rolls Razor 1 buffing WTG... 1974 Gillette #84 Super-Adjustable loaded with Treet Platinum 1 buffing AXTG(5)...
AfterShave: Warm Shower with Stirling's Deep Blue Sea then... Nivea Men Sensitive Protective Lotion...

the hands are cooperaring a bit more today... so we wanted to try the Rolls Razor again... the hands did a decent job & didn't cramp as bad as the 1st try... we didn't touch up the Roll's edge before the shave because we did a heavy honing after the 1st try... it's tiny to us handle is the problem... the buffing went decent... butt our hands couldn't do another buffing with the Rolls... & we pulled out the 74 GSA to clean up...

have a little "burn" on the dry face butt we're smoof & sniffing good...

Have Good Day & Good SOTDs ATGSers...
