Preshave: Hot water rinse + bloom water
Razor: Gillette Aluminium Handled Tech
Blade: Concord Platinum (1)
Brush: Proraso Boar
Shaving Soap: MWF
Aftershave Balm: Nivea 2 Phase
Aftershave: M&S Harvard
The Concord blade proved to be a surprise performer in a recent blade sample pack and today's shave was no exception. A near BBS finish for which my wife awarded 8.5/10.

A good early morning shave. The Assured blade worked better in a quality razor as it was held more rigidly than the Assured razor could. Not the smoothest blade but, certainly not the worst. I’d say serviceable is a good way to describe it. Great weekend to all and great shaves as well.....

Right now I'm on a train arriving in Madrid, where as every year several members of the SCNHG forum get together to eat, have a few beers and spend a pleasant afternoon chatting about brushes, razors and soaps. Last year we met 50 people in a restaurant
