Decided to try this shavette from Captain Fawcett. Not sure whether I was more excited with the free beer mats the Captain sent me than with the shavette itself though He even has his own envelopes!

Anyway, the shavette is lovely and very well made but it does sit at the wild end of the 'Mild to Wild' spectrum I was once introduced to at the start of my shaving journey. This shave tonight definitely shows how far I have come with shavettes. Extremely pleased. I would have lost an ear lobe with this a few months ago.

Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Derby shave Stick.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated.(D1)
Razor: Parker 22R.
Razor: Wilkinson sword extreme 3 Pivoting Head Cartridge Razor.(Head/Dome) (D4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./Brut Original EdT.

A relaxing early morning face & head shave.

The Omega 11137 Boar brush performed superbly this morning. I find that my Boar brushes work really well with shave sticks & my harder soaps.

An enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of splash of Brut Original EdT to the pulse points

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

I feel rather guilty for neglecting use of my Injector Razors, particularly one of my favourites The N3. Of all the Schicks that takes a Twin blade, this for me is the best. Quite surprising how well the largish brush works withe the small puck of soap, so got a nice rich lather which did not dissipate. A most relaxing Shave, pleased with the finish as the Razor allows one to work around the neck very easily.
