Was beginning the Blackbird To would never turn up, but guess that's what I get for always picking the slowest shipping option
. Been waiting most of the year for their Black Friday discount, pleased to say the first shave has not left me disappointed

Hot shower preshave
Give it a good boar brush and Col. Conk can work up a rich lather. First pass yielded a "good enough to seal a gas mask" shave. Second pass brought it to a 95% BBS. These Parker blades are sharp but don't hold a edge long for me. I think they will be one shave wonders. The Col. Conk lime aftershave is potent enough to last a while but not so much as to dominate a room.

A busy few days ahead as various medical appointments including having a progress review with Consultant. Today just a blood test to check effectiveness of new medicine. All in all everything is positive, apart from trying to get parked at the Hospital.
Considering that I am using my reject Evo ( only takes Feather blades), the Shave was really good . I can assure doubters that with two days harsh growth the Proguard blade does not drag.

This Body Shop sample keeps giving - and it's only a sample! This was shave 13 and there is enough left for at least 2, but more likely 3 shaves. This blade was given to me while testing some other blades (topic on B&B forum). I was unfamiliar with this one, but it is a pleasant surprise (so far).
