A very busy morning packing for the off. This Ingrams shaving cream is absolutely brilliant. Couldn't help but notice just how much my technique has changed since I started using a shavette. It definitely redefines the way you shave with a DE. I love open comb razors and this Merkur is one of my faves. A very smooth finish.

Without any doubt the Ti Blackbird provides the closest and most efficient shave of any razor I own! The other side of that coin is when I use it I have to pay attention to what I am doing. To those of you that are straight razor users I sometimes get “goose bumps” looking at your posts and thinking of how much skill you must have to safely and efficiently use that razor. Proraso pre-shave, House of Mammoth Sonder soap and aftershave, Ti two-tone Blackbird, Tatra platinum, HAGs Faceless balm. Flawless super close 2.5 pass shave. HoM has unique scents but Ben’s soap base is amazing.

From being an also ran to a winner - well it helps if you have loaded the blade properly. Somehow I got the Proline loaded incorrectly so Shaves were poor, at least I did not cut myself.
Must count it as my first proper Shave with The Atelier, and pleased to say that it Shaves extremely well in all areas, and I got a super close finish.
