Thursday April Twenty-Third's Shave Of The Day was bad...

the "technique" was the bad... oddly a finger cramped with the shavette and sliced away a small chunk of skin... the 74 Gillette with ASTRA did the rest of the job getting a weeper... Omega Alum Stick tried to get the slice to stop butt TP was needed...

I purchased this razor here in China for fifty quid, very nice manufacture, heft and quality of finish - but it just isn't for me.
Or may be I have not found yet the right blade to pair it with.

With some razors you get lucky, with others you just don't.

The Portuguese lanolin-based shave cream brings back an era and an aura that don't exist no more.
However there are equally capable contemporary soaps.

So you keep the good memories of all the years that will not come back, and you carry on...
