Doppelgänger action: Paradigm Diamondback Ti vs Copper. Both give a great shave, just with a slightly different feel.

The Ti is light and precise, the Copper has a bit more presence when warmed under the tap adding a little opulence, and the extra weight just seems to smooth things out a touch.

Same razor DNA, just different moods on the face.

The AccuThrive blade and Rasorock Recurve is a fantastic match. I have to admit that I didn’t expect the blade, which is supposed to be the Personna Med Prep to be this mild.

The temperature dropped so Proraso Sandalwood has taken the limelight for today’s shave. I actually did most of the left side first pass (except for down low on the neck) with the Feather and finished the pass and the rest of the shave with my lovely MühleStar Frankenrazor. It’s such an outstanding shaver! Today I paired it with a new Gillette Platinum. There was zero feedback with the alum block which I’ve been using to gauge the general effectiveness of my straight razor technique. Two passes, BBS everywhere! I feel smooth and smell good.
