Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Imperial Leather Bergamot & Sea Salt Energising Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10065.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: The Real Shave Co. Age Defence Traditional Shave Cream.
Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome. (D4)
Razor: King C. Gillette.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL./Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently, resulting in a wonderfully smooth 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...A great shave to finish my shaving week off on a high.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.😉

Whenever I get sore areas on my face, I find it sensible to lay off Shaving. Thankfully the problem seems to have abated so I decided to Shave. I thought it best to use a fresh blade, this proved to be a good decision as I had a smooth and comfortable Shave. Actually very pleased with the quality of finish with no sign of any further irritation caused.
Hopefully I will be able to have some pleasant Shaves during the Festive period.

Leisurely hot shower prep. I remembered to soak my brush.

The time between the appearance of the ring of death and actually finishing a soap is nearly infinite. Proraso is a good soap but it is not my favorite. Four thirty is made for sleeping and not for showering and shaving. Still, I was up and it needed done.

I swirled a generous portion of Proraso on my brush, worked it up into a lather and starting on my right worked it into my face. About half way across I swirled the brush around my shaving mug to force the lather out to the end of the bristles. The first pass was comfortable but not particularly close. The Astra was on its last shave. I painted on the lather for the second pass. The second pass was close enough and with a little clean up it was an acceptable shave. Brut put the finish on it with minimal zings.

Some have said the Katana is an aggressive razor, i find as long as i check the blade is sitting correctly it shaves really well, yes its efficient, although i have never been bitten by my V1 version.
Its always a pleasure to use the Wee Scot, it takes a bit more work when lathering from a tub, i find it works best with Sticks used crayon style.
Scent wise spot on with a nice post shave routine.
Will i ever be able to replace this soap once its finished, i live in hope.
