Aleppo soap - Shave pre wash
Stirling Syn 26mm
La Toja stick - grated
Schick Super 11
Schick Super 11 Ultrex ( 5 )
La Toja A/S Lotion

As out officiating today needed to do a bit of sprucing up, so chose this cart to do so. Was a good choice as able without fuss able to get a decent close all round finish. Had to drive through torrential rain on M25, and luckily the venue had a covered stand where we were positioned for a cold wet afternoon. Glad to get home as away for over 10 hours.

Today is Father's Day in France

So I made a special selection for the occasion...

I like to use those hard soaps from time to time, it gives me a nice feeling with a little powdery skin :okay:

And above all, I love the English fragrances :notworthy:

A razor "LE MAURICE" that I'm starting to better understand how to use - this one doesn't work like the others, or it is my technic that gets better :D

Happy Sunday

Sunday 16th June

Soap • Stirling Baker Street
Brush • Yaqi Bali 24mm Synthetic
Razor • Claymore Evolution
Blade • Kai Protouch MG (6)
Post • Stirling Baker Street Splash

Half a dozen or so shaves in with the Claymore Evolution and I can say that for me, it's more assertive than the Hawk (A plate).
Loaded with a Proline it's hard to beat. Although, ATG it's a little much for my preference. WTG however, it's really something else.
I loaded a 5 use Protouch MG in it this morning, and the extra smoothness is very apparent. Still a very good, close shave, but without any trepidation ATG.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and grandads out there!

Ming Shi Unscrew 3000S sharp adjustable shaver
Ming Shi blade
No name synthetic brush
Jack Black Supreme Cream
Nivea aftershave balm
Mennen Skin Bracer

Hot shower with Dr Squatch soap

I finally pulled the trigger and bought an adjustable razor. I had a Gillette back in the '70s and didn't know how much I would regret not hanging on to it. First pass I started at 5. It didn't feel like it was getting it done so I dialed it up to 6. I ramped it up to 7 on my second pass. I think the blades supplied are pretty mild. I probably need something more aggressive blade for my beard. As with all new razors there is a learning curve. At this point I think it was $7.47 USD well spent. There is a lot more to learn over the next few days.
