Didn’t post yesterday. This is a new to me holder that accepts Artist Club size blades. It comes with an unguarded head and one with a serrated smooth head. Both attach magnetically.

Thursday, August Twentieth's Shave Of The Day was bad...

turned the 74 around to use the Treet Platinum on the unused edge... and it nearly made around our maw a full weeper... this Treet got "binned"...

First shave with Merchant of Tobacco WK shave soap. IMHO did not live up to reviews. Scent was too mild and not as slick of a lather as many of my other soaps 5/10.

Proraso pre-shave, Omega EVO, Wholly Kaw Merchant of Tobacco, Ti two-one BB w SB, Tatra platinum, Omega alum, Thayers Facial, HAGs Faceless balm, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla EDP.

Sunday was a sharp blade fest. But not in a good way. Let’s just say maybe blood fest would be a better descriptor.

Wednesday was much better! And no blood.

Friday 21st August...

I'm starting to get very relaxed about using the Arko stick to the face now. It's such an easy reliable soap to use. I fear it may become a staple!

I let my wife choose the razor today and she always chooses one of the Fatips. This gold Gentile isn't my favourite but today I had the best shave I've ever had with it but maybe because I only did 1 pass and touchups. Less is always more with a Fatip I find for my skin.

The new Omega had pinched all the lather from the face application of Arko so I just wrapped up. Blade was #2 Gillette SharpEdge Yellow.

Perfect. Gold and brass. A good way to end the week.
