Pre shave: hot shower and bloom water.

Razor: Gillette 195 Adjustable (Setting 7).

Blade: Feather (9th shave).

Brush: Yaqi 26mm Bluish Violet.

Soap: Stirling Barbershop.

Post shave: Stirling Barbershop aftershave balm.


Today's shave was an evening session as I'm up and out early in the morning.

Thankfully it was another great one.

Shockingly, I managed another effortless 3 pass BBS with the Fatboy, using a feather blade that has no right to still be going this strong.

It could just be that my technique and practices have improved out of the blue.
Either way, I hope it continues

A 9th shave with the same blade is a new record for me, and I don't know if I'm brave enough to attempt a 10th, but I'm not complaining.

Stirling Barbershop is one of my absolute favourite soaps and it reaffirmed why this evening.

Lathered beautifully and filled the air with that intoxicating scent.
