Thursday 6th August...

Have been missing having a shavette with only bringing two razors away with me so picked up one the other day. The blade exposure seems a little less and it's much heavier to hold and so feels very different in use. I have to keep the shave angle slightly larger to get a decent cut on this but it works well. Used an RK Pro Edge #1 snapped as that's all I have here with me that I'd want to put in a shavette.

Decided to get a little souvenir from holiday as this is my last shave in Yorkshire so grabbed an Arko stick from the local barber. Haven't used Arko since I started shaving. Can't believe how soft my face feels! Even the scent seems better now!

Notes: I'm trying to use up some of my pile and have been using the same soap and aftershave.
I'm not s fan of these blades, they are ok but I do have better.

Tepid shower prep with Old Spice Swagger body wash

I had to sneak in between the afternoon thunderstorms but I finally got in some quality me time. Two lathered passes and a bit of blade buffing yielded as close to BBS as I'm likely yo get. The Old Spice classic ain't really but I can live with thi iteration. The lime and cedar in Swagger make a good summer compliment as summer draws to a close.
